Privacy Policy

Introduction

This privacy policy outlines the data that the Discord bot The Paradigm collects and how that information may be used by the bot application's owner.

These of slash commands and/or context-menu (right-click) commands created by The Paradigm is considered consent for the collection of the user's data.

Data

Data is only stored when necessary to store persistent information that is necessary for The Paradigm's features that the user has chosen to use. Users are assumed to be above the minimum age to use Discord as documented in Discord's Terms of Service.

Global User Data

This data is stored on a per-user basis and is referenced within every server and in the bot's direct messages:

  • The user's Discord user id
  • The user's Epic Games account id (if the user has linked an Epic Games account with The Paradigm)
  • Fortnite cosmetic ids from the user's wishlist (if the user has added a cosmetic to their wishlist)
  • Server Member Data

    This data is stored on a per-user, per-server basis:

  • The user's Discord user id
  • The Discord server's id
  • The amount of messages that the user has sent in the Discord server each day over the past 30 days (used for message activity requirements with the /giveaway command)
  • The milestones that the user has received in the Discord server (if the user has received any milestones in that server)
  • Server Data

    This data is stored on a per-server basis when the bot has been added to the server:

  • The Discord server's id
  • Giveaways that the bot has created in the server (if a server member has created one with the /giveaway command)
  • Milestones that the bot has created in the server (if a server member has created one with the /milestone command)
  • A Discord channel id for Fortnite item shop section notifications (if a server member has set one with the /settings command)
  • A Discord channel id for Fortnite item shop wishlist notifications (if a server member has set one with the /settings command)
  • Data Access

    Only the bot application's owner has access to the past or present data that The Paradigm has collected. This data will never be shared or sold to third parties. Users may contact the owner of The Paradigm to permanently delete their global user data, server member data, or both. Server data may only be deleted at the server owner's request.
